Tables can look good

Attention: This page might not look as interesting as you expected. Please use an alternate style from your browser menu (Mozilla: View -> Use Style).

Tables are often misused for layout purposes. In theory of markup they are a collection of similar related data elements (you can call them tuples). By default browsers render tables in a very classical way: horizontal and vertical rows, aligned in a rectangular array. Boring. But wait, we have CSS to make tables look good.

This is the table, select another style with your browser to view different presentations of it.

Sorry for harming tables this way...

03.05.2004 Frank Flower Chemnitz (Germany)

A little flower. I am no botanist, I don't know anything to say about it, I only want to write stupid things to have some blind text here.

20.07.2004 Frank Blumenuhr (flower clock) Zittau (Germany)

I studied in Zittau. There is a huge clock in a park next to the campus. Its clock face is completely made of flowers. The chimes in background are made of Meißner Porzelan.
